Inherent requirements of the job:

► Willingness to work shifts and overtime and to report for duty at 7:00 (weekends included).

► Ability to do physically challenging work, handle heavy objects and work in confined spaces.

Competencies (knowledge/skills):

► Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):

► Provide support to the Pest Control supervisor with regard to administrative tasks (i.e. schedules, logbooks, requisitions).
► Render a support service to all departments, wards, clinics and theatres with regard to pest control to ensure a pest free environment.
► Ensure an effective pest control service within allocated periods.
► Ensure effective safeguarding of pesticides, personal protective equipment (PPE) and continuous maintenance of equipment used.
