Job Purpose:

The Western Cape Government is seeking to employ a person to provide high level administrative support around the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of, on the non-financial data of implemented programmes. This position is available in Cape Town.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification).

Recommendation:

•A minimum of 1 year experience.

Key Performance Areas:

• Render administrative support services that will ensure the timeous organising, capturing, storing and retrieving of correspondence and data that are linked to the programmes non-financial data (NFD);
• Updating of registers and statistic;
• Handling of routine enquiries;
• Make photocopies and receive and send emails/faxes;
• Distribute documents/packages to various stakeholders as required;
• Keep and maintain the filling system for Non-Financial Data for the various programmes in the Chief Directorate Community and Partner Development;
• Type letters and/or other correspondence when required;
• Keep and maintain the incoming and outgoing register of the component;
• Provide assistance with the conducting of performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting in relation to Non-Financial Data (NFD) and programme deliverables;
• Provide high level administrative support such as assistance with the line function special projects;
• Provide assistance with the horisontal and vertical alignment processes aimed at streamlining the accurate reporting of non-financial data of programmes.

Competencies:

• Good understanding of monitoring, evaluation and reporting related to Non-Financial data (NFD);
• Proven computer literacy in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel);
• Good communication skills (written and verbal);
• Analytical thinking;
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Remuneration:
R 132 399 – R 155 961 per annum (Salary level 5).

Note on remuneration:

Cost-to-employer (CTE) remuneration packages for certain occupation-specific dispensations (OSD), the middle-management service (MMS) and contract positions are inclusive of all costs related to service benefits or obligations including basic salary, 13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc.

MMS remuneration packages are flexible and may be individually structured as prescribed.

Where remuneration is not indicated as CTE, employees service benefits or obligations are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
